1) i plain to you this as a box for keep sakes and i plan to finish it by smoothing it out adding hearts to the sides adding a top. After that i would then fire it and glaze it.
2) This piece was so difficult because i had to use the coiling method which helped create the shape but it was so difficult to smooth out. 3) The most successful thing about this piece is the the base because it is so thick and sturdy it can bare the weight of the rest of the clay. 4) When creating this piece I started out with a slab that i used to cut the base shape, I then added coils and smoother them out.

1) This piece i made is inspired by the house i used to live in in Maryland. This piece is important to me because it reminds me of where i used to live and the life i used to have.
2) The most challenging this about creating this piece was matching the colors. 3) I think the most successful thing about this piece is the bowl 4) When doing this i didn't really have a process it was more of a try and fail/ try and succeed 1) I learned how to mix paint and do gradients
2) Paint mixing was the most helpful warm-up to me 3) i didn't really need to paint any trees so it wasn't much help but it will probably help later on 4) you make brown using opposite colors on the color wheel 5) to tone down you add grey

These are two of many artworks that were done by Miles Johnston. Miles Johnston is a London-based illustrator who creates oil paintings and graphite drawings. After doing a little research about Mr. Johnston I found that his artwork is portraying a females inner thoughts. When looking at Mr. Johnston's artwork it inspires me to do my artwork as how I see things from my eyes not how others people see the same topic. Another thing I can say is that his artwork expresses him and i could definitely learn to do that.
